FORBIDDEN/Ex-TESTAMENT Guitarist To Deliver 'Shredding Masterclass' In London

November 22, 2011

Acclaimed guitarist Steve Smyth (NEVERMORE, TESTAMENT, VICIOUS RUMORS) will deliver a "shredding masterclass" on Wednesday, November 23 at the Institute Of Contemporary Music Performance in London, England.

Steve is no newcomer in the metal music or shred guitar world. He spent four years with power metallers VICIOUS RUMORS and four years with thrash metal legends TESTAMENT, touring the world in support of two albums playing to nearly 500,000 satisfied fans. Having also had stints with FORBIDDEN, NEVERMORE and DRAGONLORD, he is a thoroughly accomplished guitarist.

During the masterclass, in addition to demonstrating his virtuoso playing Steve will share his personal experiences and speak about his career, including a discussion about different career avenues one can take in the music business. And following the event, Institute students will be given the chance to have private lessons with Steve.
